The Dinner Party: A Celebration of the Five Senses

As part of the residency community experience, I produced and directed The Dinner Party: A Celebration of the Five Senses, an immersive evening that combined food, design, and collaboration. Rooted in my interest in sensory experience and connection, the event invited guests to move through a five-course meal, each course highlighting one of the senses: sight, smell, taste, touch, and sound. I collaborated with the resident chef Andrea Lorini to design a menu that activated each sense, and invited fellow artists to co-create the visual and tactile environment including tablecloths, lighting, ceramics, floral arrangements, costumes, menus, plates and soundscapes. The result was a fully embodied experience; playful, poetic, and participatory, blurring the lines between art and daily ritual.

The Dinner Party was both celebration and offering: an invitation to notice, savor, and be fully present in the act of gathering.
